1. Purpose
These Terms of Use (« Terms ») govern the use of the Centeem mobile application and website (« the Service »), published by the company Centeem (« the Company »).
2. Acceptance
Use of the Service implies full and complete acceptance of these Terms and of the Privacy Policy. Anyone who does not accept these conditions must refrain from using the Service.
3. Eligibility
The Service is accessible to individuals of legal age (18 years or older) residing in Algeria, holding a valid identity document (biometric national ID card or passport) and having completed the KYC process.
4. Mandatory KYC
In accordance with Algerian regulations on anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (AML/CFT), opening a Centeem account requires identity verification (KYC). Transfers and operations are limited according to your KYC level.
5. Regulatory limits
- Personal account KYC level 1: 50,000 DZD/transaction, 200,000 DZD/day, 1,000,000 DZD/month.
- Business account KYC level 2: 500,000 DZD/transaction, extended limits.

6. Fees
The fee schedule can be viewed in the application and on the Pricing page. P2P transfers (between Centeem users) are free. Cash withdrawals via a partner agent and external top-ups are subject to a commission.
7. User obligations
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
- Not use the Service for illegal purposes (fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing).
- Protect your PIN code and biometrics.
- Immediately report any fraudulent use.
8. Liability
The Company undertakes to provide the Service with diligence but cannot guarantee 100% availability due to the very nature of the internet and third-party services (telecom networks, Algérie Poste, partner banks). No compensation will be due in the event of temporary unavailability for maintenance or force majeure.
9. Suspension / termination
The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account in the event of a violation of these Terms, suspicion of fraud, or a legal obligation. The user may close their account at any time from the application.
10. Disputes
Any dispute will be submitted to prior mediation by Centeem Customer Service. Failing an amicable resolution within 60 days, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts of Algiers.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Algerian law.
